The science of skin
Belle Lueur is a corneotherapy-led clinic. Every facial we perform, and every product we prescribe, starts from the same idea: repair the skin’s barrier, and the skin will do the rest itself.
What it is
Corneotherapy
Corneotherapy is an evidence-based treatment approach built around the stratum corneum — the outermost layer of your skin, and the one that decides how everything below it behaves.
Rather than diagnosing a condition and prescribing a counter-measure, it asks a simpler question: what is missing from this barrier, and how do we put it back? The answer is usually the skin's own materials — the lipids, ceramides and moisture factors it makes naturally and has run short of.
It is a slower promise than a one-off peel, and a far more durable one. Skin treated this way keeps improving between appointments instead of relapsing.

The barrier comes first
Healthy skin holds water in and keeps irritants out. Almost every concern we see traces back to a barrier that isn't doing that job. We repair it before we do anything else.

Treat the skin, not the symptom
A breakout, a flush or a patch of pigment is a signal, not the problem. Correcting what caused it is what changes your skin.

No stripping, no forcing
Harsh actives and aggressive extraction give a fast result and a slower recovery. We work with the skin's own repair process, not against it.

Prescriptive, not off-the-shelf
Two people with the same concern rarely need the same formula. Yours is blended for your skin, and adjusted as your skin changes.
What we use
dermaviduals is the German corneotherapy range we blend in the room. It is prescriptive rather than pre-packaged: a base is selected for your skin, then active ingredients are added to it, one by one, for what your skin needs right now.
The bases are built on Derma Membrane Structure — a lamellar system that mirrors the skin’s own barrier. The formulas carry no preservatives, no fragrance, no emulsifiers, no mineral oils and no dyes, which is why they suit reactive and compromised skin so well.
